How the commercials work

Agreed upfront, before anything starts.

No hourly rates, no surprise invoices and no open-ended engagements. You know what it costs before the first meeting with your vendor.

01

Scope first

We agree what is in scope, how long it runs and what success looks like, before anything starts. That conversation is free.

02

A fee that matches the work

A fixed fee for a sprint, a monthly retainer for a longer engagement. Where a success fee makes sense, it is agreed per engagement based on scope and value potential, never applied as a standard percentage.

03

Measured against the vendor

Any saving is measured against the vendor’s own offer, or against the best bid in a sourcing process. Never against an internal target or a benchmark I set myself.

Service 02 · Sourcing Leadership

Two modes, depending on who holds the pen.

Both modes run on a monthly retainer. Scope and duration are agreed before the process starts.

Mode A

Risk reversal

You don’t pay if it doesn’t work.

Three commitments that sit in every engagement agreement.

Free exit after diagnostic

If Phase 1 does not identify at least one material cost position worth challenging, you pay nothing and there is no obligation to continue.

Documented savings only

Any success fee is calculated on the saving against the vendor’s initial offer, or against the best bid, never against a target I set myself.

Low-risk first step

Every engagement starts with a short commercial diagnostic. If I do not identify a credible opportunity to improve the deal, you are free to walk away before the negotiation phase begins.

Which level fits your situation?

Capacity is limited to a maximum of 3 active engagements at any time. Tell me what is on the table and I will tell you straight whether it is worth challenging.
