Services

Two services. One advisor.

One common goal: you pay what is fair, and not a cent more. The difference between them is timing.

Service 01

Challenge & Recover

Reactive. Project-based. From €3,500. You call me when the problem has arrived.

When to use it

A vendor offer arrived and something feels wrong. A change request looks inflated. A dispute is escalating and the vendor has more negotiation experience than your team does.

I take the commercial position apart, build the negotiation brief and sit at the table with you until the deal is signed on terms you can defend.

A

Diagnostic

Full commercial diagnostic and negotiation brief within five working days. Every cost position mapped, every weak point in the offer identified.

B

Negotiation

Active negotiation. I join every meeting, support all written communication with the vendor and review the commercial clauses in the contract.

C

Protection

A change request rate card for future requests, plus a handover playbook so your team can hold the line after the engagement ends.

Service 02

Sourcing Leadership

Proactive. Full process. From €3,000/mo. You call me before the problem has a chance to arrive.

Run, or guide, your vendor selection process from start to contract. Setting up the commercial terms right on day one is where the real money is, and where the leverage is highest.

Mode A

Sourcing Lead

No internal procurement team? I own the full process: RFQ design, bidder selection, offer evaluation, negotiation, contract close and handover documentation. You provide context and make the final decisions. I do everything else.

€5,500/mo + €2,500 setup Success fee tailored to the engagement Typical duration 3 to 6 months

Mode B

Sourcing Coach

Your team runs the process. I attend the key meetings, review every document before it goes out and coach your team on which argument to use, which negotiation tool fits and how to structure each round. You execute. I direct.

€3,000/mo Success fee tailored to the engagement Typical duration 3 to 5 months

How the commercials work

Agreed upfront, before anything starts.

Scope first

We agree what is in scope, how long it runs and what success looks like, before the first meeting with your vendor.

Fee to match

A fixed fee or a monthly retainer, depending on the service. Where a success fee makes sense, it is agreed per engagement based on scope and value potential.

Measured against the vendor

Any saving is measured against the vendor’s own offer, or the best bid in a sourcing process. Never against an internal target or a benchmark I set myself.

Expertise

Where the commercial complexity sits.

Four areas where suppliers hold the most leverage, and where a structured commercial challenge makes the biggest difference.

01

Embedded Software

Complex development programmes, change requests, engineering effort and single-source supplier environments.

02

Technology Services

Development partners, IT services, engineering capacity and outcome-based commercial models.

03

Integrated Technology

Selected hardware and software engagements where commercial complexity and supplier leverage matter.

04

SaaS & Enterprise Software

Licensing, renewals, commercial models, vendor lock-in and enterprise agreements.

Who this is for

Strong technical teams, no commercial counterweight.

Large companies have entire procurement organisations for this. Scale-ups usually do not, and the vendor knows it.

The profile

Founder-led and professionally managed scale-ups and technology-driven companies, typically 50 to 1,000 employees, with significant software and IT spend and no mature procurement function.

The moment

A major technology purchase, a contract renewal, a supplier negotiation, a change request or a vendor review. Ideally before anything is signed.

The outcome

Lower technology costs, better commercial terms, less supplier risk and control back over the vendor relationships that matter, without building a procurement department.

Next step

Talk it through in 30 minutes.

Bring the offer, the change request or the sourcing plan. You will know within one call whether there is something worth challenging.
